While Hanover was enjoying a holiday for town meeting purposes, the Green quintet was in Princeton fighting with all its power to avenge its honor. Captain Goas' men did enjoy an early lead but the Tigers were not to be denied on their own floor. The game was unusually fast. In every respect but the score it was a fitting conclusion to the season.
