Class of 1908

Peter F. McCarty has tendered his resignation as assistant district attorney of Suffolk County, Massachusetts. After three years of service to the state, Peter has decided to resume the general practice of law. High tribute was paid to him by District Attorney O'Brien in an open letter accepting his resignation.

Sydney Lee Ruggles has resigned as resident engineer on the West Springfield filters for the city of Springfield, Mass., and will hereafter be connected with Mr. E. Worthington, consulting engineer, Dedhanj, Mass.

Roger Hill came East from his construction work in Detroit recently to spend a few days at his old home in Tilton. We thought of suggesting a round of golf to him, until we discovered that he is a four-handicap man in Detroit, so we promptly choked the inclination.

Harold A. Morey has recently been making inspection trips in the East and Middle West, looking towards extensive alterations and additions to the mill of the Spanish Pulp and Paper Company, with which he is connected.

Dana Parkinson has been advanced to U.S. district forester, and now has headquarters at Ogden, Utah.

Louis Hopkins was one of those upon whom Dartmouth conferred the honorary degree of Master of Arts in June.

Art Rotch is a member of the Publicity Commission of New Hampshire, recently appointed by Governor Winant.
