Harold P. Hinman is one of the group referred to in the following item in the Barre, (Vt.) Daily Times of July 1: "The largest real estate transaction in the history of the Barre granite industry was consummated today when the entire properties of the Boutwell, Milne, and Varnum Company, situated in Barre Town and Williamstown, with home offices in Montpelier, were acquired by a group of Burlington, Barre, and Boston business men, the new ownership to be known as the Boutwell, Milne, and Varnum Corporation, organized under the laws of Vermont. This transfer involves a monetary consideration of $2,000,000." Hinman, who is now president of the H. P. Hinman Company, granite manufacturers, becomes vice-president of the new corporation. Another member of the group is Joseph T. Smith 'O6, who becomes treasurer.
