Cheever Comey's son-in-law Joe Gerebenics has written the details of Cheever's death. He had prayed that he might live to see his granddaughter Gail graduate from Notre Dame Law School. His prayers were answered. He attended her graduation in May. Leon Kendall writes that all the Clearwater Tenners are status quo, including himself, Andy Scarlett, Art Lord, and Larry and Miriam Bankart.

Mrs. John R. Haug (Jess Wilson's daughter) who lives in Marblehead, Mass., has written a long letter about her father's and mother's love for Dartmouth and her wonderful family. She recently visited Dartmouth and called on the Bankarts.

We have had several nice visits with BillTaylor since we arrived in Delray Beach. Bill was 88 in June and still going strong. Bill was associated with me for 27 years. I never had a more loyal associate in all my years with A-D-M Company and General Mills.

Howard Bushway of West Newton, Mass., one of the largest ice cream manufacturers in the U.S., the company started by his father in 1882, writes about his early years in aviation, his long fight and recovery from tuberculosis, his World War I experience and his optimistic view of the future. A salute to Classmate Howard. Ted Hill writes that he suffered a heart attack in October, and as a result of medication his eyes have failed so that he cannot see to read or write. Otherwise he says he is in pretty good shape. Ted was in the pink of condition at Reunion.

Guy Carpenter has produced a long philosophic letter discoursing on the weather in San Francisco and how he misses the many letters he used to receive from deceased classmates. He also speaks reverently of several of his living classmates and pays tribute to their accomplishments.

In a letter from Marie Louise Melvin (Louis Langdell's daughter) she speaks so lovingly of her dad and how he lived his life doing good deeds for others. Louis shared all Dartmouth news with her, so she treasures all news from the Class and the College.

Herb Coar has sold his old home in Kingston, Mass., and now lives on Nobicusset Road in Dennis, Mass. 02638, P.O. Box 921. Herb lost his wife Helen in 1959. He spent many years in research as a molecular biologist, but in recent times he is involved in real estate with old friends. Herb rates himself as a good cook. He cooked a 22-pound turkey with all the fixings for his friends.

Horace Chadbourne spent three weeks at Christmas time with his daughter and family in Spokane.

Harold Robinson, in a typewritten note from Carmel Valley Manor, Carmel, Calif., reports that he lost his wife Mary November 8, 1974. To ease his loneliness he has made many good friends among the 200 residents at the Manor. He ambles around on a pair of Canadian crutches and enjoys the church activities and the beautiful scenery in the valley around the Manor.
