Notice has just been received of the death of Jack Helliwell at his home in La Jolla, Cal., on November 24. Fred Eaton has recently gone to Coral Gables, Fla., where he has been made assistant general sales manager of the Coral Gables Corporation. Fred was going to attend a party of Dartmouth men one day, but could not get away from business long enough to make the appointment, the chief reason being that Fred reports sales in that office that day of some seven million dollars worth of real estate. We all sincerely hope that sales will let up sufficiently and that Fred will be able to borrow enough money to take a few days off next June.

This item appeared in the Boston papers January 3: "Announcement has just been made of the appointment of L. J. Waldron as sales manager for the Pennsylvania Rubber Company. Mr. Waldron has been local branch manager for the company for the past five years, and has brought the branch along until today it ranks as the company's leading branch. His appointment as sales manager therefore comes as a well merited reward. As sales manager he will make his headquarters at the home office of the company, and he is leaving in a few days to assume his new duties at Jeannette, Pa." Our congratulations to Les.
