1926 ALUMNI FUND CAMPAIGN UNDER WAY
March, 1926

Announcement of the beginning of the drive of the Alumni Fund Committee of Dartmouth College for the minimum quota of $llO,OOO for the year 1926 has been sent to all alumni of the College.

Since 1913, when the Alumni Association approved and authorized the Alumni Council to form a committee to solicit and collect annually funds to constitute the Dartmouth College Alumni Fund on the Tucker Foundation, the alumni of Dartmouth have contributed liberally in order that the work of the College might continue.

Last year the quota of the Alumni Fund was set at $90,000, and 4884 men, or 72 per cent of the alumni body, contributed $99,335.61, a new high record for the fund more than $lB,OOO in access of what had been given in any preceding year.

As its method of partially returning to Dartmouth what the College has given to it, the class of 1925 last June passed a resolution whereby it set as its quota to be paid to the Alumni Fund during a period of 25 years an average minimum contribution of not less than $lOOO per graduate of the class.

The Alumni Fund Committee which is in charge of collecting this year's quota of $110,000 consists of the following: Allan L. Priddy '15, chairman; Robert C. Strong '24, executive secretary; Philip S. Marden '94, James A. Townsend '94, Victor M. Cutter 'O3 and Warren C. Agry '11.
