The Weaver High School of Hartford, Conn., has been awarded the Dartmouth Plaque for the year 1926-27 as a result of the best first semester work in the freshman class. The delegation from the Weaver High School consists of A. R. Finley '29, A. K. Kotchen '29 and M. J. Mather '29.
The runner-up this year is the University High School of Chicago, with four men. Other ranking schools in order are as follows: Moses Brown School, Providence, R. 1., with three men; Bulkeley High School, New London, Conn., with four men; Richmond Hill High School, Richmond Hill, N. Y., with six men, and Central High School, Washington, D. C., with four men.
The Dartmouth Plaque is awarded yearly to that school whose entering delegation of three or more men to the freshman class has the best scholastic record during its first semester in college.
