John C. Varney. '09 is the author of "First Wounds, A story in Five Chapters of Verse" published

by Francisco Bianco, New York City. This volume of 126 pages is very attractively printed in an edition of 500 copies on ordinary paper and 21 numbered copies on Japan vellum.

Stanley B. Jones '18 is the author of a story "New Gods For Old" in the May issue of Everybody's Magazine. The April issue of the Elk's Magazine contains another story by Jones "Feather-Duster," a story of the prizering.

The Harvard University Press have just published a new revised edition "A Guide to the Study of Occupations; a selected critical bibliography of the common occupation with specific references for their study" by Frederick James Allen '89.
