Public request is here made for a submission to the Secretary of any pictures which were taken by members of the class during reunion that may be of interest to the class in the reunion report.

A report of the reunion will be found elsewhere in this issue of the MAGAZINE. I expect that most of the news which appears in this column will be old information to those who attended reunion. Nevertheless, it is given for the benefit of all.

The first member of our class to receive an honorary degree from Dartmouth is Walter A. Morgan, who was granted the degree of Doctor of Divinity in the following manner:

"Walter AmOs Morgan: Recurring discussion in regard to the influence of the church on the life of today invariably leads to consideration of the minister and of his obligations,—and sometimes of his difficulties. The College rejoices that among its graduates every now and then is found someone who visualizes the opportunities offered by the Christian ministry and who, as a strong man to run a race, goes forth to meet the great challenge of work within this field.

"In recognition of the record of completed achievement which is yours in an important pastorate until recently held and in anticipation of the record which you will make m the vital work to which you have recently gone."

Cap Caproni is now representing the Palmer Steel Company in New Haven, Conn., his business address being 70 College St.

Dick Chase is this month moving his family to Butler, Pa., where he will be nearer his new work with the Standard Steel Car Company.

Spunk and Helen Troy were unable to attend the party at Whitefield as they sailed on a European trip on June 22d. They will remain in Europe during the summer.

Cap Maynard is another European visitor this summer, having left just before reunion for a stay of fifteen months, spending his sabbatical year in France.

Two foreigners invaded our shore for reunion. Sam Richardson, accompanied by his wife, returned from his consulship in Ireland, and will visit here for a part of the summer, before returning.

Louis Hall has given up his business in Paris and is visiting the States trying to decide whether he will remain here or return to France for the rest of his business career.

Pug Sanborn reports a Washington address at 2456 Twentieth Street, N. W.

Art Gray's new home is located at 29 Thorndyke Road, Worcester.

Hub Pierce sends a card announcing the birth on June 22 of Hugh Stanley Pierce, accompanied by these remarks: "This accounts for my non-appearance at reunion. It is my only boy, so you can imagine I need to be hooped."

Stewart and Marian Gibson are also in the announcing business, the occasion being the arrival of a son, David Anthony, on Saturday, June 26.

Cap Hedges and Jack Ingersoll are both signed up as football officials for the coming fall. Jack's list is not yet in, but here is Cap's: Oct. 2 Nebraska—Drake at Lincoln—Ref. 9 Minnesota—Notre Dame at Minneapolis—H. L. 16 Oklahoma—Drake at Des Moines— Ref.-^ 23 Chicago—Purdue at Chicago—F. The marriage announcement of Miss Josephine M. Stapleton to Mr. Lester J. Waldron on April 24th at Pittsburgh, Pa., has been filed in the archives as representing one of the few remaining bachelors to have deserted Mullen and Company. They are to live at the Seiler Apartments, Greensburg, Pa.

The class will be pleased to know that Mrs. Helliwell recenth' sent a generous contribution to the Memorial Field Fund in behalf of John, one of whose great ambitions had always been to do for the College.

Burt Cooper announces the dissolution of the partnership of Snow and Cooper, as of June Ist, saying further that he will open temporary law offices in the Snow-Hale Block at 42 North Main Street, Rochester. His permanent offices will be in the Rochester Realty Company Block when completed about December Ist.

Stan Macomber has a daughter, Anne Lewis, coming in ahead of St. Patrick by two days, meaning that she was born on March 15th.

An heir to the Mayo milliohs arrived at the home of Shorty and Muriel on March 12th, who will answer to the name of Herbert Colby.

Report has also been received to the effect that Jim Gaylord, Ken Knapp, Art Shepherd and Clint Elwell recently have become the fathers of four individual sons. Names and dates have not yet been received but they all range around the week prior to Commencement. Further facts, if submitted by their fond parents, will be greatly appreciated.

Carroll Jones writes that he has given up his work in Wyoming and is to live in Trenton, N. J., where he arrived July Ist, just too late to attend the reunion. Now that he is in Trenton he says he will try to see the boys in New York city and Boston often.

Deac Trask with headquarters at 17 East 59th Street, New York, is trying to get rid of his negro revue, so if anybody wants to buy a good play communicate with Deac at once. He has a feeling that I have been maligning him because I said that he could speak Italian. He says, "I do not. I wear a near-black shirt, it is true, but from necessity, and also take castor oil, from necessity, but that's the only connection. There are but two Italian words that I know, Mussolini and macaroni, but don't know really what either means. Hank Haserot with whom I returned on the 'Leviathan,' he first, I third class, may have some tall tales to tell, but they will be grossly exaggerated, as is to be expected from Hank. You may think it incongruous for me to be trying my hand at humor, but look about at comic spirits and you will find them only preachers, in disguise."

Bob Morrill has deserted the shoe game and has started in on a private venture with three friends, which promises Bob an excellent future. Meanwhile, he is traveling fast and furiously about the country, so that he was unable to give us any time at reunion.

Dutch Hoit has finally extricated himself from the mass of unknown and reports himself as manager for New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, Greenfield, Mass. His business address is 76 Federal Street and home address 92 Sanderson Street.

Word has come in to the effect that Ira Knight is now with the Dunham Hanson Company, hardware jobbers, Bangor, Maine, and is residing at 54 Blackstone Street, Bangor.

Special Attention. The class pictures taken in front of Dartmouth have been received and are excellent. You may obtain a copy of one by sending your address and $1.25 to Arthur H. Woodman, 93 Manchester Street, Manchester, N. H.
