Chief excitement during the past month for Hanoverians in general was the Yale game at New Haven. In regard to the game itself, perhaps the less said the better. There were a large number of Twenty-fivers there, and some of them we remember seeing.

President Bolles was up from New York, and so were a lot of others. Brice Disque was in evidence, Paul Walter was sitting on one end of a twenty-five row. Gil Gilbert, Speedy Fleet, and Bill Calvert were lined up in another row, and George Newman was somewhere thereabouts, too.

Lou Kimball and Lyn White were up near the top of the section, and Bill Jenkins was near them. Down in front, among others, was Frank Kennedy, and somebody said Frank Hershey was there also. Pete Haffenreffer about three rows in front of the Secretary, but he didn't give me a tumble. He'll have to account for that next time. Perhaps when he sees this he'll write. If only all those who were there and whose names are not being mentioned would write, we would have more news next month than this time.

Dan Harris came from as far away as Gloucester. Fair Sawyer was present. Johnny Whitman was in the picture also, and Jimmy Walls and Red Martin and Al Manning were part of the Springfield delegation. Jimmy was on his vacation from work with the General Fireproofing Company of Youngstown, Ohio. Nate Bugbee was all set to go to the game, but he has gotten to the point where he has to attend meetings in New York, and one of them was thoughtlessly held while the game was in progress. He reached New Haven about two hours after the game finished, and hearing that Dutch Jerman was in the Taft grill with two ladies went down to investigate, but Dutch was out of sight.

Bill Davenport deserted the wife and business in Amherst long enough to take in the week-end.

We presume similar groups of classmates were seen at Cambridge at the time of the more interesting contest with Harvard. Probably about the same things happened, though, so since we can't present you with the facts you'll have to use your imagination and your own past experience to construct the scene.

Our congratulation column: Chan Walker was married recently to Miss Helen Louise Carbaugh of Washington, D. C.

Jack Mahool was married on October 17 to Miss Rita Anne Rheinfrank of Greenwich, Conn., in that city. Jack and his bride, who is a graduate of Goucher College, class of 1926, are residing in Baltimore.

Walt Vom Lehn is engaged to Miss Helen A. Otte, of the class of 1927 of Columbia Universiy.

Christmas is coming. Write a letter instead of a card.
