The Hanover Inn broke all former records in the accommodation of Carnival guests during Carnival week according to a statement by A. P. Fairfield,- manager. Although the Inn has shown a steady increase in guests cared for during the annual Carnival week-end the 1927 figures show the largest gain recorded to date.
Six hundred and four meals were served on the first day as compared with 508 on the same day in 1926. The high point in the dining room was reached on Sunday, February 13 when there were 963 diners. This figure is exceeded only by that of the Brown game week-end earlier this year.
