The following lectures and motion pictures given and announced by the Thayer School reveal the activity centering at the southeast corner of the campus:

Thursday, February 17, Mr. Albert A. Northrop of Stone and Webster, lectured on "Nature's Frozen Credits." The lecture was illustrated by motion picture films showing the various steps in the construction of a plant for the transformation of hydraulic power into electric power.

On February 28, Mr. F. E. Everett, New Hampshire State Highway Commissioner, lectured on the interpretation of traffic surveys as an aid in the formation of highway policies.

March 2, Mr. Clarence D. Pollock, Consulting Engineer, New York City, will lecture on the Construction of Stone Block Pavements.

March Bth, 9th, an.' 1 '10th, Mr. George E. Martin, consulting engineer of the Barrett Company, will present a series of six illustrated lectures on the subject of "Coal Tar and Its Uses."
