Myles J. Lane '28 was elected captain of the hockey team for next, season. He has been a regular defense man on the sextets of the past two years and was the outstanding choice as captain. He came to Dartmouth after spectacular athletic careers at Melrose High and Huntington School. Making an immediate success with Dartmouth freshman teams, he has kept on at the same pace with the varsity aggregations. He is a three-letter man, playing halfback on the football team, a veteran hockey man, and a pitcher for Jeff Tesreau's baseball nine. During the season just closed he not only proved deadly to more than a full share of opposition attacks, but he worked into the scoring columns with a regularity that ordinarily distinguishes only a forward. It was his goal in the second Harvard game that gave the team its tie with the Crimson.
