Andrew Marshall has resigned as a member of the board of trustees of the Boston Elevated Railway, due to the pressure of his private business. "Zeus" says his business as a trial lawyer does not allow him to do justice to the position. The Boston Traveller states that Mr. Marshall's resignation adds another complicacation to the already tangled condition of the Boston Elevated problem.

Everett M. Stevens has been named by Governor ernor Huntley N. Spaulding a member of the committee to procure for the state of NewHampshire an oil painting of General John G. Foster, the ranking officer from New Hampshire in the War of the Rebellion.

Charles R. Chase is with the Public Service Commission of New York state in the railroad crossing elimination work. His office is at 91 State St., Albany, N. Y., next door above the Ten Eyck Hotel, and he will be glad to see any classmates who are passing through that part of the country.

Secretary, ... 42 Orange St., Nashua, N. H.
