The 1930 track team doubled the score on the New Hampshire '3O squad to win the first outdoor meet of the season on Memorial Field May 6 by an 85 to 41 score. Coach Cohn's athletes proved to be strong in both the track and field events, and took 10 first places as compared with three for New Hampshire. McQuiston of Dartmouth was the high point man of the meet, scoring 15 points on three firsts, with Pillsbury of the visitors following with 11. 120-yard high hurdles—Won by Pillsbury (N.H.) ; Marsters (D), second; Gallagher (D), third.
