SPRING TRUSTEES MEETING HELD IN HANOVER
JUNE, 1927

A meeting of the Trustees of Dartmouth College was held at their room in the Parkhurst Administration Building in Hanover, New Hampshire, on April 29, 1927.

There were present President Hopkins and Messrs. Parkhurst, Brown, Little, Howland, Dubois, Tuttle, Knight, McLane, and Gray.

The President made a verbal report upon the condition of the College with particular reference (1) to the personnel of the entering Freshman class under the selective admission requirements; and (2) to the chapel services under the new schedule providing for an intermission of morning classes at 10 A.M.

Vote of Thanks to Carnegie Corporation forGift to Fine Arts Library

Voted: That the Trustees of Dartmouth College accept the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), payable $10,000 annually for five years for the development of the Fine Arts Reference Library, in regard to which generous proffer has been made by the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Corporation. And further, it was

Voted: That the President of the College be instructed to state to the Trustees of the Carnegie Corporation the grateful appreciation of the Trustees of Dartmouth College for this perspicacious gift. Award of Degrees

Natural Science BuildingVoted: That the Trustees approve the location of the Natural Science Building on the site between Russell Sage Hall and Main Street; that the plans as developed by J. F. Larson, Architect, and approved by the President be approved; and that the President be authorized to have plans developed for a green house to be located northwest of the junction of the two arms of Tuck Drive to be used in connection with the new science building.
