ATHLETIC COUNCIL AWARDS INSIGNIA AND ACCEPTS MARKS
Four track records were confirmed, M. H. Partridge '27 was given a straight "D" for winning the singles title in the New England Intercollegiate Tournament, and insignia awarded for track, lacrosse, golf, tennis, freshman track, freshman tennis and freshman baseball at a meeting of the Athletic Council. G. Glendinning's record dash in the 220 yard dash in the Colgate meet was one of those to be confirmed. The time of E. M. Wells '2B in the high hurdles in the same meet, tying Thomson's record, was also verified by the Council. Wells' time of 24 1-10 seconds in the same event in the Intercollegiates at Philadelphia, 3-10 of a second faster than his time of the Colgate meet, was also approved by the council. The other record that was allowed to stand was R. J. Covert's javelin throw of 185 feet 8 3-4 inches at the Intercollegiates, breaking his own College record.

The tennis tDt was awarded to the following six men: G. E. Morcroft '27, M. H. Partridge '27, E. A. Ross '27, A. M. Welty '27, J. Sass '2B, and E. W. Heister '29.
The lDt for the lacrosse team was awarded to the following men: H. N. Benson '27, T. A. Girault '27, H. Rubin '27, L. C. Wormley '27, G. Johnston '2B, W. C. Lary '2B, B. J. Nova '2B, T. Babcock '29, F. R. Breithut '29, J. H. Cornehlson '29, L. P. Estabrook '29, B. L. Johnston '29, J. H. Stickler '29.
The gDt was awarded to F. M. Auer '27, G. J. Besse '27, C. N. Proctor '2B, and R. C. Rockwell '2B of the golf team.
Freshman baseball numerals were granted to the following members of the 1930 nine; C. S. Austin, H. E. Booma, G. W. French, G. E. Hollstrom, R. A. Jordan, T. M. Longnecker, M. G. Mclnnes, J. S. Marsh, D. E. Sands, M. G. Swarthout, W. E. Walker. "
Tennis numerals were given to the following freshmen: J. De Veau, J. C. Dunlap, R. P. Hobbs, T. D. McDonald, F. W. Page, D. E. Whitelam.
