Dartmouth 9—Vermont 1

An eighth inning rally that accounted for eight runs broke up a game that had been deadlocked since the fifth inning and gave Dartmouth a 9 to 1 victory over the University of Vermont at Hanover May 25. Both teams scored in the fifth inning but were unable to make further progress to a decision until the frame in which twelve Dartmouth batters faced pitcher Fogg, of Vermont, and solved his delivery for seven hits.
