Edwin. O. Grover was in Claremont, August 20, coming from Newport with F. P. Claggett. It was the writer's privilege to pass an evening with them at the residence of E. J. Rossiter, '95. Grover is professor of books at Rollins College, Winter Park, Fla. This summer he has been teaching at Bread Loaf Summer School, Middlebury, Vt. Educational experiments of novelty and interest are being tried out at Rollins, in which our classmate is a participant.

Information has been received that Bob Burnap and Carl Hoskins are suffering affliction, through the loss of the mother and father, respectively. Mrs. Burnap was the widow of the late Wilder L. Burnap of the class of 1863. Colonel Hoskins, Carl's father, was long prominent in hotel business circles in New Hampshire, did creditable service in the state legislature, and was a strong man in every way.
