Kenerson took hold of the festivities for the class attendant on the Harvard game. He planned a golf game at the Winchester Country Club, with whoever of the class wished as his guests at luncheon and golf. There followed the stag dinner in Boston that (Friday) night, with the game Saturday afternoon, and the usual family dinner Saturday night. The Secretary was unable to be present, and has heard from nobody as yet as to the results of the plans. It is to be hoped many of the class were present.

The Boston Globe of August 5 states that Bertram, like all good American boys, wanted to get a football to limber up for the fall season. He could find none in all Germany and finally had to send home for one. Sounds like Otis, doesn't it?

A recent clipping from a Boston paper shows Bergengren as a leader in the Credit Union National Extension Bureau. He planned a trip to Germany, where the Credit .Union movement originated. At one meeting Roy hobnobbed with Edward Filene. This is a movement to give borrowing power to people of integrity and clean record, without security. The experience of one New York bank which has inaugurated the plan is that the percentage of loss is less than on strictly commercial loans. This is a good work, Roy; power to your elbow.

An editorial in a Manchester, N. H., paper of some months ago, traces the relationship of Andrew Jackson to his illustrious namesake and kin. Andrew Jackson's father went to North Carolina from Ireland, and a cousin at about the same time went to New Hampshire. His descendants live there today. Our classmate is one of them, and his brother Robert (Dartmouth 1900) is the leader of the Democratic party of New Hampshire. Our Andy, as we have all heard him say, was born on January 8, the anniversary of Old Hickory's victory at New Orleans, and of course he had to be christened "Andrew" from that fact. The editorial in question states further that Andrew is planning a trip around the world.
