Of particular interest to Dartmouth men is the campaign for funds now in progress for establishing a memorial to the famous Lafayette Escadrille. Seven Dartmouth alumni served with the flying corps which flew for France during the Great War. Of these men two lost their lives and it is in their memory that gifts may be made by Dartmouth alumni.

Those alumni whose names are goldstarred are: Warren T. Hobbs 'l9, and Walter R. York 'l6. The other Dartmouth members of the Escadrille are: George Dock, Jr. 'l6, Donald H. Eldredge 'l9, Dabney Horton 'l5, William T. Ponder 'l7, and Clifton Badlam Thompson 'l7.

Contributions may be sent, either in dollars or in francs, to: Lafayette Escadrille Memorial, 83 rue Perronet, Neuilly-surSeine, France, or Lafayette Escadrille Memorial, % Bankers Trust Company, 5 Place Vendome, Paris, or 16 Wall Street, New York City.
