EVANSTON, ILL., Nov. 24—Dartmouth's football hopes for the year were crushed without a doubt this afternoon when a fighting northwestern team took the Indians into camp by a 27 to 6 score; only the punting of A 1 Marsters stood out, and saved the game from being an utter rout. Marsters consistently gained yardage by beautiful kicks. For Northwestern, Bruder and Captain Holmer were the outstanding men on the team, and between them they accounted for all four wildcat touchdowns. Dartmouth's only score came on a forward pass, Marsters to Booma, this one play gaining fifty yards and a touchdown. It came in the last quarter, and made the score 13 to 6. Northwestern than rallied and scored two more touchdowns, one on an 83 yard run by Captain Holmer after he had picked up a fumble by Len Clark, green half back. Captain Dick Black closed his football career by playing briefly during the first period and the stands gave him a tremendous ovation as he walked from the field. Bob Lyle and Fred Breithut also played their last game. Harris and Sherman, who are Seniors, did not get into the game on account of injuries and they have now been out for football for the last time.

On Friday afternoon the Freshman football team defeated Lake Forest Academy at Soldier Field Stadium 44 to 0.
