PRESIDENT HOPKINS will be the guest of honor and principal speaker at the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston at the Copley Plaza on the evening of February 3. Dr. Wing-tsit Chan, Professor of Chinese Culture at Dartmouth, will also be among the speakers; and special guests will include Captain Newton L. Nichols USN, director of training for the First Naval District, and Major John Howland USMCR, representing Captain Damon E. Cummings USN, commanding officer of the Dartmouth V-12 Unit, who will be unable to attend.

Dean Neidlinger will also represent the College at alumni gatherings during February, appearing at four dinner meetings. His itinerary includes Rochester, N. Y., on Monday, February 7; Buffalo, N. Y., on Tuesday, February 8; Cleveland on Thursday, February 10; and Detroit on Friday, February 11. Earl Brown, football and basketball coach, will also speak at Cleveland and Detroit.

Last month Dean Neidlinger addressed alumni groups at Philadelphia on January 26, Baltimore on January 27, and Washington, D. C., January 28.
