The Musical Clubs, always worth hearing, are active again this year. Their Thanks-giving vacation trip will end with a concert the evening of the day this magazine appears.
The Musical Clubs will make their first trip of the year extending into five states, presenting concerts in four. The combined clubs, carrying a personnel of approximately 50 men, will leave Hanover the afternoon of Wednesday, November 28, and that night will give a concert at Bellows Falls under the auspices of the Bellows Falls Country Club at the Club House. On the following night a concert will be given in the Kimball Hotel at Springfield, Mass., with the co-operation of alumni in the vicinity. From Springfield the clubs will go to White Plains, N. Y., where they will give a concert at the Armory under the auspices of the Women's College Club of White Plains on Friday night. The fourth and last concert will be at Glen Ridge, N. J., on Saturday night. All four concerts will be followed by dancing with music by the Barbary Coast Orchestra.
The schedule and concerts of the trip have been arranged through the efforts of A. C. Bertch '29, manager of the Musical Clubs and G. C. Fisher '3O, assistant manager. K. B. Michael '29, former intercollegiate diving champion, will lead the Glee Club, E. H. Plumb '29 will direct the Instrumental Club and M. R. Goudey '29 will lead the Barbary Coast.
