Sigma Alpha won the Fraternity Scholarship Cup for the second consecutive year, with an average for 1926-27 of 3.031, according to statistics made public by the registrar. Kappa Sigma took second place with 2.429, and Phi Sigma Kappa was third with 2.416.

The average attained by all of the fraternities was 2.265, an increase of .07 over 1925-26, but this is .76 less than that of the non-fraternity men in the three upper classes. The freshmen average being only 1.950, the average for the whole college was 2.185.
