Playing before a record crowd of Carnival guests and local supporters the basketball team outplayed Harvard Feb. 11 with a result 44-31 in favor of Dartmouth. The Cambridge five was expected to put up a strong battle as it had defeated the Holy Cross quintet which had previously beaten Dartmouth. Getting away to a quick lead the Green was never headed and the result of the game was never in doubt. Langdell and Swarthout played brilliantly and Morse, a substitute, distinguished himself by clever guarding while he played.
