As usual with the coming of the fall season, touch football is the major activity in the intramural field. Both dormitory and fraternity teams have been competing for the championship in their respective divisions. The College Championship is to be played on the Friday of Fall House Party week-end.
The fraternity leagues have been furnishing the more spectacular games, as Zeta Psi fights to retain the cup. So far, under the leadership of varsity basketballer Bill Thomas '3B and Hobey Rockwell '3B, the Zetes have flashed their usual series of trick flip passes to completely baffle the Sigma Nus, the Delts, and the Betas in that order. In the North Webster League, Sigma Chi proved the powerhouse, the close teamwork of Mouse Hallett '3B, Johnny Johnson 38 and Bob Reeve '3B overriding all opposition. Phi Sigma Kappa heads the Elm Street League with three wins and no defeats. In the other leagues, Phi Gamma Delta is tied with Delta Kappa Epsilon, Psi Upsilon and Alpha Delta Phi are in a deadlock, while Sigma Phi Epsilon vies with Delta Upsilon for league supremacy. The play-off ladder has not been determined as yet, but the series will begin in the near future.
