Captains Elected Insigna Awarded

The Athletic Council has ratified the election of two captains for next year. Carl Spaeth '29, a guard on the championship basketball team of two years ago and a forward on the team this year, was selected to captain the team next season. Spaeth is also a member of the baseball squad and at the present time is president of the Junior Class and is president of Green Key.

G. M. Bott '29, goal tender on the hockey team for the past two years, was elected captain of hockey. He is one of the best goal tenders that Dartmouth has had in recent years. The following members of the swimming team were awarded insignia: G. M. Boughton '28, W. Isham '28, E. M. Jennings '28, J. W. Bryant '29, J. C. H'ubbel '29, R. H. Leigh '29, W. McCaw '29, L. B. Rogers '29, W. Birnie '30, G. A. Scheller '30, C. E. Simmons '30, W. E. Steers '30.

The wDp was awarded to the following members of the water polo team,: B. Brown '28, J. E. Flanagan '2B, H. Enders '29, J. R. Hubbard '29, S. S. Snider '29, M. M. Chait '30, W. J. Harrison '30, J. J. Howald '30. The gDt was awarded to the members of the gym team: W. H. Hobson '28, L. M. Sadler '28, E. A. Thomas '28, J. J. Ruff '29, P. H. Russell Jr. '29, J. I. Stewart '29, A. L. Fink '30, A. H. Gould '30, J. H. Herrick '30, C. G. Zey '30.

Numerals were awarded to the following five members of the freshman swimming team: F. S. Burkhardt, C. S. McAllister, Jr., F. P, McCord, J. A. Purdy, W. C. Wolff.
