O. S. Warden, who is chairman of the State Highway Commission of Montana, attended the convention of the Western Association of State Highway Officials at Los Angeles, March 9 and 10. Eleven states are associated in this organization. Comprehensive plans for increasing good roads have been made. The principal object of the Association is to secure additional appropriation through Congress at Washington for the building of standard highways through national forests and other federal domain of the public lands states. Warden was chairman of the committee on resolutions, and is a member of the executive committee of the Association for the ensuing year.
