Now and then through devious channels we hear of the achievements of modest '18ers who are climbing towards the top in their respective vocations,—accomplishments that one can never extract from the individual himself.
For instance, we learn that Bub Frost is now head of the telephone sales accounting department of the Western Electric Company. Frost started work for this company two years after graduation and has kept on the move ever since. In April 1921 he was transferred to the International Telephone Company, but returned to the Western Electric six months later as statistical clerk in its telephone sales department. During the beginning of 1927 he entered the company's commercial department as pricing engineer, and now, a year later, has been made gales accountant, directing the activities of a corps of statisticians and accountants. After serving his apprenticeship in bond selling with Callaway Fish and Company for several years, Stump Barr is now associated with Edward B. Smith and Company, another stock exchange firm.
From Harvey Perley (Hood, the 2d) we have an announcement of his marriage to Miss Barbara Ellen Churchill. The ceremony took place on April 18 at Milton, Mass., in the First Parish church.
Al Street has fairly well recovered from his severe burns resulting from the explosion on his motor boat last year, and is now completing his recuperation by touring France. Mrs. Allison Piper divulges the fact that her dear husband is at present the superintendent of a woolen mill in Keene, N. H., also that he is the father of a fast growing family, consisting now of David, Peggy, and Nancy Piper.
Marsh Leavitt continues at teaching mathematics, and has recently acquired a new position at high school of Melrose, Mass.
Al Lucier writes: "Still practicing law in Nashua, N. H. Recently elected city solicitor, and am keeping busy. Married, and have a house full of females,one wife and three daughters."
We hear from Bill Dutelle that he is assistant engineer with the Illinois Division of Highways, in charge of all county construction in District No. 5.
Dutch Rau is still with Dwight P. Robinson and Company, and has been erecting buildings for this firm at Middletown, Ohio. He says that Cal Jones is with him on the same location.

Likewise Ralph E. Clark reports the birth of Robert Bigelow Clark on October 26, 1927. Clark says he expects to drag Harold Kendall up to Hanover for the great gathering this spring.
