LUNCHEON EVERY MONDAY NOON UNIVERSITY CLUB

Professor Allen R. Foley '20 of the History Department addressed a crowd of 60 alumni, undergraduates and fathers of undergraduates at Marshall Field's department store between the holidays on "Problems of the College Today."

Tom Rowe and Jay Buck of the Class of '50 went into the Army in December, and George Hinners '49 went in in October and is now at Camp Gordon in Augusta, Georgia.

Phil Kimball '22 of Beckley, West Va., had lunch with us one day in November.

John W. Masland, Professor of Government, and John C. Adams, Professor of History, will be speakers at the Hanover Holiday program on February 3, about the time these notes are published.

Connor B. Shaw Jr. '43, President of the Association, has been promoted by Marshall Field & Cos. to be expenses assistant to the general management.
