The annual meeting of the Association of Alumni of Dartmouth College was called to order in Room 103, Dartmouth Hall, at two o'clock. The president of the Association, Joseph W. Bartlett '9B, was in the chair. After prayer had been offered by the Rev. Everard W. Snow '9B the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The secretary then reported on the nomination of Charles G.
Dußois '9l as an Alumni Trustee and the result of the ballot for Alumni Councilors. The treasurer of the Association, Perley R. Buo-bee '9O, being absent at the Republican Convention in Kansas City and unable to present his report at the meeting it was Voted: That the report of the treasurer be referred with power to the Executive Committee. The Nominating Committee was then called upon for its report, and through its chairman, James R. Chandler '9B, presented the following nominations for the year 1928-29: President—Nelson P. Priddy 15 It was then Voted: That the secretary cast one ballot for the nominations as presented by the Nominating Committee.
On motion of Robert F. Marden '9B it was Voted: That the secretary of this Association be requested to transmit to Mr. Frank P. Carpenter of Manchester expression of the deep appreciation of the alumni of Dartmouth College for his recent gift of funds for the construction of an art building at Dartmouth College. Announcement was then made by the chairman that the meeting would adjourn to the Tent on the Campus for the reception of the Fifty-Year Class. On reassembling in the Tent the meeting was again called to order by President Bartlett, who presented as the spokesman for the class of 1878 William D. Parkinson of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Mr. Parkinson spoke briefly of the history of the class and presented each of the 23 members present at the reunion, speaking briefly of their careers and giving them the opportunity to respond. The meeting then adjourned.
