The issue of Unity for June 18th contains the first installment of a play by Henry Bailey Stevens '12 entitled "Tolstoy—A Play in Seven Scenes."

Recent publications by Jason Almus Russell '2O are "The Aboriginal Element in Whittier's Writings" which appears in the April-May 1928 number of the Granite Monthly, and "The Romantic Indian in Bryant's Poetry," which appears in Education for June.

The American Mercury for June contains an article by Professor Fred Lewis Pattee 'BB entitled "On the Rating of Mark Twain."

W. T. Collins '26 with J. C. McLennan and H. Grayson-Smith are the authors of an article "Intensities in the Secondary Spectrum of Hydrogen at Various Temperatures" which has been reprinted from the Proceedings of the Royal Society, A, vol. 116, 1927.

An article by Donald B. Gilchrist 'l3 entitled "The Evolution of College and University Libraries" has been reprinted from Papers and Proceedings of the American Library Association.

Professor Leonard D. White 'l4 has written an article "Der Kampf um die Leistungsfahigkeit der Werwaltung in den Vereinigten Staaten" which has been reprinted in Archiv fur Sozialwissenschaft und Sozialpolitik, volume 59, part 2.
