With this issue the Secretary takes over the work of William M. Hatch, who has continuously and most acceptably served the class in that capacity since graduation. He does so with a full consciousness that the place held by "Will" cannot be filled. No member of the class had such an extended and favorable acquaintance with men of Dartmouth, and none stood higher than he in the esteem and affection of his classmates. An obituary notice appeared in the last issue. Mrs. Hatch will continue to reside at the family home, 54 Academy St., Arlington, Mass. Her daughter, Mrs. Eleanor McCormick, and her family are to spend the winter with Mrs. Hatch.
Fred P. Weeks, banker, died at his home at Plymouth, N. H., on October 3. He has for many years been an important figure in the banking and social life of that section of the state. Further details will be found in an obituary notice in this issue.
The Secretary and Mrs. Snow had a most enjoyable summer train cruise to the Pacific Coast, visiting en route Estes, Bocky Mountain, and Yellowstone National Parks, Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyons, the Yosemite Valley, and Lake Tahoe.
George Ward Stetson, Jr., of Middleborough was married to Miss Doris Pierce Kinsman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dnight Pierce Kinsman, May 22, 1929.
The wedding of Joseph Cilley Burley, son of Harry 8., to Miss Ruth Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frederick Thomas, occurred June 19 at the Second Unitarian church, Brookline, Mass.
