Halsey C. Edgerton of the class of 1906, Phi Beta Kappa, Tuck School 1907, directs the financial affairs of the College. All of the business operations attendant upon the functioning of this $15,000,000 corporation are supervised by him. He is occupied with the problems of the growing college plant, the erection of new buildings, the housing of the faculty and the caring for Dartmouth's invested funds.
Public spiritedness is an outstanding characteristic of Dartmouth's treasurer, who watches over monies in the following organizations: Mary Hitchcock Me- morial Hospital, Hanover Improvement Society, Hanover Country Club, Hanover Republican Club, Twin State Airport Corporation, and the Lake Mitchell Trout Club. He is director of the Dartmouth National Bank, the Hanover Water Works Company, the Northfield National Bank, the Split Ball Bearing Corporation, and the Grafton County Light and Power Company.
Associated with Mr. Edgerton is Earle C. Gordon '12, assistant treasurer.
