The value of this section of the magazine would be greatly enhanced if all members of the alumni body and facultywould send in to Harold G. Rugg, literary editor, announcements of all their publications. It is especially desirable toreceive announcements of pamphlets and magazine articles. Victor M. Cutter '03 is the author of an article "Results of Hoover's Tour" in the Financial Digest, annual review issue 1929. Mr. Cutter is also the author of an article "What My Executor Should Expect from Me and What I Should Expect from My Executor" which appears in the Illinois Law Review for February, 1929.

"Twenty Songs from Mother Goose" by R. L. Wilkinson '14, with designs by Kayren Draper has been published by the composer, Salem, Massachusetts.
There has been reprinted from Julius Liebigs und Annalen der Chemie an article by Lyndon F. Small '20 and Heinrich Wieland entitled "Uber Morphiumalkaloide. VI. The baizon und andere Ozonisationsprodukte."
"Practical Plight Training" by Lt. Barrett Studley '16, U.S.N, has been published by Macmillan Company. This volume analyzes the science of flight training and gives the student some idea of the preparation he must make for training. It gives in full the aviation traffic rules of the Department of Commerce and outlines a suitable course of training for the prospective student. The early chapters deal with the different maneuvers of flying and later chapters discuss cross country flying, aerial navigation, and the characteristics of different types of planes. Lt. Studley has had ten years of experience in all types of naval planes He was formerly an instructor of flying at the naval air station at Pensacola, Florida, and while there wrote the "Flight School Manual" which is now the Official Text Book from which all naval fliers are trained. This present book is a development of the earlier book. At present Lt. Studley is senior aviation officer of the flagship "New Mexico." He writes that he will be glad to advise Dartmouth men interested in aviation.
