"Harry"

MAKER of champions and a former Olympic champion and world's record holder himself, Harry Hillman is coaching the Big Green track team for the nineteenth year. While in active competition for the New York Athletic Club from 1899 to 1909 he won 37 championships in the sprints and hurdles. These included honors in Military, Metropolitan, Canadian, National and Olympic meets. He served as Olympic coach in 1924 and 1928.

THOMPSON, Wells, Sherman, Olson, Shelburne, Coakley, Bates, Riley, Swope, Crawford, Harmon, Nazro, Worthington, Engelhorn, Spears, Whitney, Wright, Myers and Brown are track stars whose names adorn the Trophy Room and whose records stand as tributes to Harry.
