The following statement was issued by the genial Dook as he boarded the steamer which took him back to his native land:

"OPEN YOUR CHECK BOOK, GLANCE NOT AT THE BALANCE ON THE LEFTHAND SIDE, SHUT YOUR EYES AND REMEMBER THE FINEST DAY YOU EVER HAD IN HANOVER, THEN QUICKLY WRITE OUT A CHECK AND SEND IT TO HUNK."
