The editorial column of The Dartmouth for the month has apparently been the victim of spring. In part this has represented the general slavery of the campus to the season, and in part is significant of an unpromisingly sluggish editorial competition. In the absence of issues on which to focus attention, the column has held a prevailing semi-literary tone. Some of the efforts have been more "pseudo" then "semi," but a few have been comparatively effective, as the following, entitled "Applesauce":
