At a recent meeting of the Round Table Prof. Herman Feldman of the Tuck School spoke on "The Position of Labor in a Socialized State," the third and final lecture of a series of discussions on economic welfare under different forms of organization. During the meeting, Round Table officers were elected for next year.
Roger E. Ela '30, of Whitewater, Wis., a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, the D. C. A. cabinet and the debating team, was selected as president. The vice-president is Albert M. Hayes '30, of Albany, N. Y., a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and the editor of The Tomahawk. D. W. Safford '30, of Washington, a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity, was elected secretary, and G. D. Morris '31, of San Antonio, Tex., a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and of the debating team, was chosen as treasurer.
About 70 members of the Round Table and the faculty attended the annual Round Table banquet in the grill in College Hall April 30. Prof. L. D. Stilwell, Prof. W. M. Urban and Prof. L. B. Richardson were the speakers, who discussed the topic, "How Can the Good Life Taught in the Liberal College Be Followed After Graduation?"
