'99 Wins Cup

On the occasion of the Alumni Luncheon it was not possible to announce the winner of the 1894 class cup as all returns had not then been made by class secretaries. Six classes made competition for the cup close but final returns showed that it had been won by the class of 1899 with a percentage of 73. Of 88 living graduates, 64 were present at some time during Commencement.

The nearest competitor was the class of 1894, itself the donor of the cup, which returned a percentage of 68. The other leading classes in order were as follows:
