CLASS OF 1874
AUGUST 1929 Frank N. Parsons

Fear for the outcome of what appeared to have been a very serious surgical operation very recently undergone by one of the class, William Weeks Morrill, and the temporary ill health which prevented the attendance of the president, S. L. Powers, cast a shadow over the Fifty-fifth Reunion of the class. Fourteen of the twenty-five living members attended, and voted to hold another reunion in 1934.

Fears for Morrill were fully justified when he died two days after Commencement, June 20. The article concerning him which appears in the Necrology was written by Frank E. McDuffee of the Troy bar.
