The varsity and freshman cross,-country teams started their seasons by swamping Norwich, but after that they petered out in subsequent matches. The freshmen lost to Harvard, and the varsity ran second against Harvard and M. I. T. and placed third in the annual quadrangular meet with Cornell, Columbia and Pennsylvania in New York. The intercollegiates have yet to be run, and men such as Capt. Huckins, Bush and Langley look promising, but their best work has been done with the track team.
