While the varsity has been going through the season undefeated but tied, the freshmen under Pat Holbrook finished out their second year of undefeated football at the same time uncovering a wealth of likely varsity material this year.
Their conquests have included Clark School, Tilton, Andover, Roxbury, Harvard '34, Hebron and Vermont Academy and the last four games were all won by a single touchdown while holding the opponents scoreless.
The impressive part of the freshman team is that practically the same outfit started and finished the season and the eleven men as a unit were invincible. They were given a different system than that of the varsity and frequent scrimmages with the Big Green helped the program out. The personnel of the team includes Ronald Morton, brother of varsity Bill, Sam Fishman, Bennett and Clough as a backfield, with McHugh, Lapidus, Michelet (captain), Mansfield, Glazer, Hulsart and Ong in the line. They faced a difficult schedule and much of the credit is given to Quarterback Fishman who enjoyed a brilliant season.
