On December 19, 1929, Bremer Pond with President Gaspar G. Bacon of the Massachusetts State Senate appeared before the American Battle Monuments Commission for approval of plans for a memorial park on land owned by the Commonwealth, at St. Mihiel, France. The completed plans were drawn by Bremer, and have been approved by the State Art Commission and also by Gov. Allen. They require the approval of the Federal Commission before the work can be undertaken. The plans have also been enthusiastically approved by the mayor and council of St. Mihiel. The local commission has approximately $65,000 to carry out the plans if the approval is secured.

Cully Pierce is now selling real estate and insurance in the Newtons for the Edmands and Byfield agency, located at 408 Center St., Newton, Mass.

Charlie McKendree, who has been on the faculty of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York for the past fifteen years,

is now assistant professor of clinical neurology The classmates will be sorry to learn of the death of Clarence Filiau, which occurred in Hanover on December 30.

Tom Perry, who for the past few years has been associated with the Halsey Stuart Company in Boston and New York, has recently resigned his position with that company, to take a more important one with the Chatham Phoenix National Bank in New York.

Bill Grimes is now the chief writer for the Boston American on hockey as well as other sports.

Walter Kennedy has returned to Boston from Detroit, where he has lived for the past year. He now has a position with F. L. Putnam and Company, where he is selling bonds.

Walter Andrews, who has been actively engaged for many years in the sales department of the Merrimac Chemical Company, now consolidated with the Monsanto Chemical Works of St. Louis, Mo., is now the sales manager of the heavy chemicals division of the Merrimac Chemical Branch of Boston.
