FEBRUARY 1930

The first release of the year of "Dartmouth College News," the 16 mm. movies of current Dartmouth life and activities, is now being shown before alumni clubs and associations throughout the country. The release is made up of two films, showing for the most part football, with the Harvard, Yale and Cornell games featured. There are also pictures of Edward Tuck, Lord Dartmouth, and President Hopkins, taken abroad last spring, together with a survey of student life at the opening of College, including Delta Alpha, the football rush, and other incidental events of interest. A feature of the movies now being distributed is the titles, for which Abner J. Epstein '31 has drawn caricatures introducing the many and varied subjects included in the films.

The films may be secured by individuals or by Dartmouth clubs not already included in the schedule drawn up for showing the movies. There are also available for rental seven reels of films which were produced last year and which are well adapted for showing before groups of Dartmouth alumni, prospective Dartmouth students, or parents of undergraduates.
