First Green Key Prom
APRIL 1930

Freshmen feel themselves socially barred from Carnival and houseparties, hence the great approval with which the idea of the Green Key one-day prom week-end was received. No fraternity entertainment was permitted and the one social event was the prom itself held in the gymnasium, where symbolical decorations in green and white for the Green Key looked down on a gay throng of over 500 dancers. Dartmouth's BarbaryCoast Orchestra furnished the music and the glee club quartet and other speciality acts enlivened the program. Chosen as the Green Key Prom Girl was Miss Nancy Dickinson of Kansas City, Mo.
