Willard Connely '11, of New York, has been appointed resident director of the British Division of the American University Union in London, succeeding Professor Henry David Gray of Stanford University, according to an announcement of the Institute of International Education. Mr. Connely holds his bachelor's degree from Dartmouth and from Oxford University, and his master's degree from Harvard University, where he taught for several years. He has also done magazine writing and editing, and is the author of several books. He was on the staff of The Sunday Express in London for a time.
William D. Knight 'OB, States Attorney of Illinois, is the author of a leaflet "The Prosecutor (outside of Chicago) in Felony Cases." The material in this leaflet appears as chapter 5 of the "Illinois Crime Survey," a report of over 1,000 pages recently published.
