CHARLES F. EICHENAUER, a graduate in the class of 1905, is editor of the Quincy (III.) Herald Whig and Journal. He recently effected a combination of three Quincy newspapers to form the powerful paper now under his direction. An undergraduate record of outstanding distinction was followed by the acquisition of other degrees leading to the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters, awarded him by Culver Stockton College for distinguished service in the field of journalism.

A GRADUATE of the Staatliche Bildungsanstalt, Berlin, Germany, Hans Pashcen came to Dartmouth in 1926 to enter the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration and Finance. He received the degree of Master of Commercial Science degree with the Tuck class of 1928, having made an excellent record during the two year course. He is now associated with a Boston brokerage firm.

NEWSPAPER HEADING has paid Sidney S. Rubin, a graduate of the College last June. His home is New York City. The explanation he gives in this issue of the careful preparation in current events which lead to his successful competition for the New YorkTimes prize of $500 reveals the reason why his undergraduate record was a one of high rank and diversified achievement.

J. WALTER LANGLEY '32, is one of Harry Hillman's distance runners and captain of the cross country team. He tells, this month the story of "Cross Countryat Dartmouth."
