THE SCOTTS ENTERTAIN

Bob Scott's attractive residence, a few blocks from the Yale Bowl, was the center of '17's reunion at the Yale game this year. He and Mrs. Scott broadcasted an invitation to get together there both before and after the game. It has always been impossible previously to work out any sort of a reunion idea at New Haven; and Bob's hospitality made the Yale game this year something besides just another football trip.

JOHNNY WELCOMES AIMEE

Quotation from Boston newspapers, October 8: "When Aimee Semple McPherson Hutton stepped out of the big airliner at the airport today, she was met by John F. Wheelock of the Colonial Air Lines, who greeted her and introduced her to the committee of distinguished citizens who had gathered to welcome her to Boston." Wonder if John has got converted yet.

BOSTON PARTIES

At the time this is being inscribed, definite and detailed plans for '17 conventions at the Harvard and Stanford games have not been worked out. It is practically certain that there will be a gathering at the University Club on the night before the Harvard game, and you'll get ample notice concerning the Stanford Pow Wow later.
